CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
B.Eng or B.Sc (Electrical/Mechanical) Degree
3-5 Years exp
Problem solving, Effective communication
Advanced technical proficiency
Numerical ability
Analytical skills
Methodical, Attention to detail
Accuracy

POSITION OUTPUTS:
Execute all design aspects detailed on the job cards
Selection and configuration of hardware
Provide active support to the electrical workshop and test bay
Ensure all documentation is accurate according to manufactured product
Review all design drawings
Assist commissioning technicians onsite when required
Provide a communication link between engineering department, contracts dep and the client
Verify that the design cost on the component schedule is within the cost allowance detailed on the job cost calculation
Responsible for calculate fault levels at switchboards
Compile a board layout sketch indicating the configuration requirements, cable entries busbar interconnections and cross sections
Test and de-bug this software before issue to the test department
