Core Purpose Of The Job:

To effectively and efficiently manage the Developers to ensure quality development delivery with minimal returns from testing

 

KEY OBJECTIVE

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years’ experience with design patterns
  • 1 – 3 years’ team lead experience
  • 3 years’ architecture experience
  • 3 years’ experience with mobile applications
  • Configure and optimize applications
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders on all levels
  • Ability to work with data and computer programs to build system solutions
  • Write technical specifications
  • Implement and develop reports on MS reporting services

EXPERIENCE (Minimum necessary before being considered for the Job)

  • 1-3 years team lead experience
  • 6-10 years relevant IT experience; SQL, .net, C#, visual studio

DUTIES

  • Planning and management of Developers:
  • Strategic and operational plans for the Developers to be run past Manager. 
  • Ensure implementation of the approved plans by supervising staff. 
  • Monitors and review plans on an ongoing basis.
  • Design, develop, enhance and maintain computer systems
  • Write technical specifications
  • Configure and optimize applications
  • Design, develop, enhance and maintain system reports
  • Recommend ideas and solutions.
  • Perform research and development of ideas and concepts
  • Interface with users, management, external IT service providers
  • Ensure that developers solutions are in conformity with the system architecture

Reports and Meeting attendance:

  • Produce unit reports on a monthly basis. 
  • Project to project reports and ad hoc reports
  • Unit meetings
  • Ad hoc meetings

Project management:

  • Allocate and supervise work of project team

Ensure compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with mandatory requirements and all applicable international and bilateral agreements

Management of staff:

  • Provide developer support and coaching through frequent informal and formal discussions
  • Ensure developers comply with standards and procedure
  • Implements and use the performance management system fully in order to monitor the performance of subordinates
