Responsibilites:
- Managing a team of specialist resources
- Managing a project or set of projects
- Ensures that business objectives are reflected in the technical processes
- Understanding business requirements, business systems and process context, impact and risks
- Management of activities within the SDLC (process owner)
- Project Management
- Ensuring that the Application remains adaptive to emerging client needs in its lifetime.
- Technical owner of a set of Applications (e.g. CRM)
- Understanding business' future requirements
- Making recommendations for the improvement of the SDLC, PM or ITIL processes
- Ensuring alignment to business requirements, and building trust with clients by displaying managerial competence
- Participating and enabling the business Prioritization process
- Ensures that the technical Application capacity exists for a particular set of systems (e.g. CRM)
Qualifications and experience
- Tertiary degree (B. Engineer, B.Com, BSC)
- 3 to 5 years experience in software development for large commercial entities
- Must have managed a software development team
- Change Readiness
- Customer Service Orientation
- Solution Architecture
- Software development and testing
- SDLC, ITIL (Incident, Change, Release, Problem Management)
