DIESEL MECHNIC, SOWETO, R20 000 + 50% MEDICAL + BONUSES
TRADE DIESEL MECHANIC + EXP “MANITOU FORKLIFT” + SHIFTS & STANDBY (SATURDAYS / PUBLIC HOLIDAYS) + GOOD ELECTRICAL KNOWLEDGE + GOOD MECHANICAL SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

PURPOSE OF THE JOB (Describe the main purpose or end requirement of the job)
1. Safely maintain all Mobile Plant (Company vehicles) to OEM
2. (Argents/Suppliers) specifications.
3. Ensure compliance to Safety standards in the Mobile Plant.

DIMENSIONS OF THE JOB (Staff, Contacts, Responsibilities, Works instructions)
1. Diagnose and complete all repairs within a reasonable time frame.
2. Ensure 98% mobile plant availability.
3. Liaise and confirm all repairs with Foreman/Manager.
4. Be familiar with the Mobile Plant budget and all repairs done to be within the budget.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
(Qualification, Experience, Skills, Planning and organizing skills)
1. Must have Grade 12.
2. A qualified mechanic with a minimum of three years experience with maintaining earth moving equipment.
3. Ability to manage artisans in a pro-active planned maintenance system.
4. Ability to follow and give clear instructions.
