We are a Civil Engineering company seeking a Diesel/Petrol Mechanic to join our team in the Northern Suburbs area.

Requirements:

5 - 10 years experience required
Drivers Licence- Code 8 or higher
Own Transport and reside in Northern Suburbs
Extensive knowledge in a variety of mechanical systems
Handyman qualification preferable
Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
Presentable and organized with good intercommunication skills
Can effectively and efficiently handle both administrative and mechanical responsibilities
Experience managing multiple tasks
Managing a team of operators.

Auto Electrical
Small Plant

Responsibilities:
- Take control of and manage their fleet of plant and machinery as well as general maintenance of building and plumbing
Attend to garden maintenance eg. Sprinkler systems
- Regular scheduled servicing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules on vehicles / small plant / machinery and equipment.
- Oversee outsourced servicing and maintenance of machines on site.
- Respond to all mechanical and non-mechanical after hour call-outs and break downs.
- Complete and maintain job-oriented documentation, i.e. worksheets, job cards, service records, etc.
- Ship-loading standby duties.
- Any other reasonable duties where the Maintenance Manager may require assistance.
