Digital Marketing Co-Ordinator

Educational Requirements:
Matric
Must BCom Degree in Marketing (Focus on digital marketing)

Experience Requirements:
At least 5 Years ‘work experience within a similar role
Able to demonstrate an understanding of marketing fundamentals especially in the digital space
Proven creative & presentation skills
Experience and knowledge in key areas of marketing – SEO, social media, content marketing, email marketing, PPC & SEM
Experience & knowledge in key digital measurements tools & able to interpret results
Proven ability at developing social presence & brand avocation
Up to date knowledge of marketing Trends, Google search algorithms, digital tools, social media promotion etc.
Understanding of brand aesthetics
Ability to travel nationally
Strong written & verbal skills in English
Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Adobe (including Photoshop & InDesign)
Good research techniques
Own transport

Responsibilities:
Collaborating with the marketing team & agency to set the strategy, day to day management, sourcing & successful execution of content for the digital marketing channels
Initiating effective marketing campaigns online – aligning these wit business goals & successful marketing campaigns
Conduct & participate in surveys & research exercises to evaluate consumer needs. To enhance knowledge of consumer trends & demands
Increase efficacy in communicating with customers through digital channels
Expand brand awareness & increase reach with innovative initiatives & campaigns
Support on digital brand visibility through proposals, presentations, website enhancements, email communication & social media platforms etc
Development & maintenance of website & content
Test new digital platform content
Maintain digital press & image content archive
Monitor customer database list growth, quality & currency
Manage & facilitate Hi – res image requests
Maintain consistent voice across all content
Assist with other marketing functions as needed
Ensuring policies & procedures are adhered to

Additional information:
Salary is R35 000 – R45 000 CTC
Candidates must be self-starter
Passionate about marketing & creative
High attention to detail
