Main job description:
We are looking for a talented Digital Media Manager (DMM) who has a passion for all things digital and a knack for attention to detail, good leadership skills, and solid communication and organization skills. This position requires excellent analytical and project management skills to recommend and drive new digital programs. Experience implementing and managing successful digital programs in a fast-paced environment is an absolute must.

The DMM's main role is to execute the full cycle of digital marketing projects from digital "builds" through full-cycle online marketing programs. A strong understanding of digital project management (including information architecture, functional and technical specification requirements for websites, mobile applications, display ads, landing pages and email marketing) is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Good understanding of Marketing and Digital Marketing mediums
• Implementing Digital Marketing Department strategy
• Schedule and create daily social media content as is appropriate for the various platforms
• Must be experienced with managing official company social media pages
• Create monthly / weekly / daily social media content themes
• Able to create written, visual and video content for social media platforms on a regular basis
• Continually monitor platform performance in terms of audience growth, reach, clicks to website and conversions
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to plan, produce, monitor, and optimize multiple digital campaigns
• Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
• Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
• Collaborate with design team on writing and implementing advertising copy for display/search ads, landing pages, and positioning to ensure
brand standards and accuracy
• Create monthly Digital Marketing Department reports outlining growth, projections, and aims of KPIs
• Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
• Assist with weekly forecasting updates and budget flow management, including measuring and reporting performance of all digital marketing
campaigns, assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs)
• Generate leads and conversions through appropriate, well-targeted adverts

Pre-requisite Qualifications:

• Matric essential
• Related tertiary qualification•

Job Experience and Technical Skills:

• 2 – 3 years’ experience as a media manager or a similar role
• 6 – 10 years’ overall experience in media management
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
• Have an ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
• Have understanding of AdWords Campaigns (Branded, Non-Branded and Remarketing campaigns)
• Understanding / knowledge of Google Analytics is key for reporting
• Must have experience with Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube
• Ability to integrate with traditional marketing team
• Be brand advocate in the online sphere

• Have a proven ability to build relationships with clients and co-workers
