A leading digital agency in South Africa have an exciting job opportunity for a Digital Project Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. As the Digital Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale digital, web and mobile projects during a build or run phase. A strong technical background is mandatory to be fully effective in this role, because you’ll be the point of reference for the clients assigned and you’ll be directly involved in all the commercial offers, giving support on the technical side

Your key job responsibilities as the Digital Project Manager in Johannesburg will include:

- Managing mobile and website projects in conjunction with Technical Leader through a build or run phase
- Gathering client requirements to create project plans and requirements documents
- Contributing to the creative, technical and strategic direction of the project by working as a key part of a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team
- Multiple stakeholder management, including senior clients and Board level
- Prioritize according to the project need and in line with stakeholder expectations
- Track record of providing hands-on project management guidance
- Establishing priorities, managing timelines, develops process/leverages existing process, and pushes projects forward and achieve objectives
- Maintain accurate project reporting information and up-to-date project assets and metrics
- Provide clear and accurate project status updates
- Identify and resolve changes in scope, schedules and resource requirements

Requirements for this Digital Project Manager job in Johannesburg:

- Project Management experience in a Digital Agency, Advertising, Sports Events, Streaming/Broadcast Media and Mobile Broadcast related industries
- Technical understanding of digital media, including web technologies, online streaming and apps
- Experience of mobile and broadcast business, with focus both on products and processes
- Project Management related certifications a bonus
- Able to work calmly under pressure of deadlines and delivery, especially in the context of live sports
- Experience with project management software, such as Jira, Trello, etc.
