Digital Sales Manager

Location: Craighall, Johannesburg
Salary: Market Related

Purpose of the Role:
To lead online advertising revenue initiatives for our various platforms including Linked In, Vodacom and BBM. We are looking for an enthusiastic manager with strong industry knowledge, the ability to foster talent, and a proven history of sales success.

Requirements:
3 – 5 years digital sales experience in the advertising industry
Minimum of three years digital sales management experience
Post matric qualification preferably marketing or advertising related
Existing industry contacts
Strong industry relationships
Excellent leadership skills and experience managing sales staff
Superior digital product knowledge, local market understanding and personal selling skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Performance oriented leader with sound ability to manage team to daily outcomes, and achieve goals through his/her team.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Leadership experience, with a proven track record of building and managing a team of Digital account executives

Duties:
The Digital Sales Manager is responsible for driving online advertising revenue for all our digital properties.
Lead a team of Digital Account Executives and work directly with Channel managers to ensure that new business development and account retention are achieved.
Management of sales people, including establishing and measuring sales goals, providing performance feedback, and coaching to ensure team members achieve key performance indicators.
