Position: Dispatch and Receiving Clerk

Large Multi-National Manufacturing Company based in Elsie’s River has a vacancy open for a Dispatch Clerk in the warehouse Division.
The right applicant will be fluent in Afrikaans and English well spoken and well presented. They will be of sober habits and have excellent references.

The main function of a Dispatch / Receiving Clerk is to check the following:
Correct goods are delivered or dispatched
Correct quantities are delivered or dispatched
Goods are in perfect order (not damaged)
Pack goods in the correct places
Keep strict records of all the goods
Assists with the loading and unloading of good
Operates a forklift
Removes packaging material or packs up goods carefully
Checks that quantities are correct
Check that the right goods get packed or unloaded
Deals with damaged or missing goods
Keeps strict records


You will need to be:
Matric
6-12 months experience as a Dispatch and Receiving Clerk
Organised
Fit and healthy
An accurate worker
Detail orientated
Trustworthy
Observant
Methodical
A team player
Careful
