Job Summary

SEAR has issued an updated operational plan which is aligned to the current corporate plan, in order to address changing business requirements. This has included a number of changes to the operating model, among these is the intention is to optimise the Enterprise & Solution Architecture teams in order to provide the required services – which is the primary driver behind this Rfx for staff augmentation.

A number of key deliverables/initiatives have been included in the above, namely but not limited to:

• Digital Transformation
• Information/Data Architecture practice re-establishment
• Roadmap development
• Governance streamlining
• Focus on strategy execution

Responsibilities and Duties

Description of services/ product that needs to be provided

• Architectural service that provides Target Enterprise & Solution Architectures to support the operational plan for the next 18 months
• The target architecture is to be described & rendered using existing Eskom methodologies/tool sets

Scope of work/supply

Target enterprise architectures

• Business strategy analysis
• Customer intimacy/stakeholder & relationship management
• Roadmap development and documentation
• Standards/positions papers/patterns
• Enterprise architecture role (strategic projects)
• Influence and present to senior management i.e Manco/ steerco

Qualifications and Skills

• Three-year qualification or 7 years Security Solution Architecture experience
• Certification: TOGAF / SABSA / CISSP / CISM
• 7 Years Data Loss Prevention experience
• 8 – 10 Years Security Solution Architecture or Enterprise Security Architecture experience
• 7 Years Architecture Design Tools experience
