We are seeking dependable drivers (code 10 and 14) to be responsible for driving company vehicles on a planned route to ensure deliveries are made on time.
Duties
Transport goods and packages from place of origin to assigned destination
Pick-up loads and organize goods in an ordered, logical manner
Ensure contents are properly secured inside of truck to prevent breakage or damage
Obtain signatures or warehouse scans to confirm and complete deliveries with clients
Map delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries
Interact with local customers, answer questions and advise them on our products
Confirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest document
Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip
Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean
Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)
Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
Requirements and Qualifications
Valid driver’s license
Clean driving record with no endorsements
Must pass background check and criminal check
Skilled and confident driver
Proficient using GPS and other routing systems
Good customer care skills
Salaries
R15500 to R26000 depending on experience and route
