Qualified Pharmacist with experience in the Managed Health Care industry required to supervise a team of pharmacists and support staff.

You will be required to approve chronic scripts and review drug utilisation with respect to drug interaction and contraindications.

Minimum requirements:
• B.Pharm and SACP registration
• Computer literate – Excel essential
• 5 years experience within Managed Care environment
• DUR exp essential
• Bilingual – English and Afrikaans essential

Responsibilities:
• Supervise team of Pharmacists and support staff
• Approve chronic scripts
• DUR with respect to drug interaction and contraindications
• Liaise with Doctors and pharmacies
• Assist with Disease Management
• Queries and escalated queries
• Departmental statistics
• Assist with reporting required by department
• Prepare take-on files to load authorizations
