Kendrick Recruitment is now recruiting for a strong F&B Duty Manager for a very famous luxury 5* hotel & restaurant.The Duty Manager is responsible for the overseeing of all areas of the Food and Beverage Front of House Department during shifts and needs to be capable of making decisions. Key Duties include:Overseeing the general operations of the Food and Beverage Front of HouseEnsure that the Food and Beverage Front of House is tidy at all timesOversee restaurant float and sign-over’sMonitor PM and house accounts- especially Food and Beverage discrepanciesDaily cashiering and cash-upsDealing with guest’s special requestsLink in communication between departments with regards to guest movement of the dayEnsure that correct Food and Beverage reports are sent out to Management timeouslyAssist with rooming of guestsAssist with site inspectionsAssist with DM shiftsManage the Food and Beverage team proactively during shiftDepartment rosterEnsure all portfolios issued by FBM & DGM are kept up to dateOversee all restaurant portfoliosOversee department orderingStaff trainingStaff counselingAssist FB Manager with new staff inductionsReacting appropriately to guest complaints and taking corrective actionCompile a thorough shift handoverGeneral cleanliness and the upkeep of maintenance in all Food and Beverage areasEnsure that the Food and Beverage office and Micros sales area is always tidyWe are looking for someone with 3-4 years minimum experience in F&B department at a 5* property.If you have what it takes and would like to apply, please send your CV, profile picture and written references with your application.
