Attraction and Tourism industry is seeking a Duty Supervisor to join their team in Waterfront, Cape Town. We are seeking individuals with supervising experience, preferably in the retail and/or hospitality industry and that will be responsible for supervising the daily operational performance, ensuring all KPI’s are met and in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and regulatory requirements. Perform the role of Manager on duty in the absence of the General Manager.

The Duty Supervisor must have a high level of taking on responsibility as he/she will be responsible for opening and closing the business, manage cash-ups and rosters, manage staff and making sure all is running smoothly whilst interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

We are looking for a young, ambitious person that loves working with people. The Duty Supervisor must motivate and support staff. The shifts for the Duty Supervisor will be either a morning shift of 08:00 to 16:00 or evening shift of 15:00 to 00:00 (midnight) including weekends and public holidays as per determined rosters. The shifts and number of days work per week will vary from time to time and the supervisor should be willing and able to adapt accordingly.

Minimum Requirements:
• Must have Grade 12
• Diploma or Degree would be an added advantage
• Must have experience working as a team leader / supervisor in a customer service environment
• Must have previous administration experience
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and maths
• Must be fluent in English with good communication skills

Salary: R45 per hour
