Our client in the La Mercy area is recruiting for a Economist/Specialist Analyst, to conduct property research, analyse and structure real estate deals to assist in developing financial structures and evaluating the financial feasibility of investing in real estate, property and other commercial transactions

To conduct research to assist in the interpretation of economic relationships and solution of problems arising from the rendering of company services.

To assist the CEO in monitoring and evaluating the performance of the organisation.

Develop effective business models and improve the productivity of existing models in liaison with all Divisions;

Identify commercial opportunities and support the CEO with commercial negotiations;

Provide commercial input for all new company business opportunities including acquisitions, investments, mergers, service and logistics contracts;

Analyse and evaluate economic value of investment opportunities.

Review commercial/project proposals for CEO’s approval;

Research the real estate/ property market in order to establish current market trends and forecast new investment opportunities.

Create a financial model/s to assess investment viability.

Create a financial model capable of performing various sensitivity analyses, handle variations and monitor progress of actual versus projection.


Prepare opportunity/ feasibility studies for different prospective investment projects.

Analyze a variety of financial indicators, financial statements and project budgets.

Review cash flow forecasts, financial modeling, risk profile and feasibility information and compile recommendations regarding the most appropriate financing structure for specific transactions.

Review performance of existing investments against original cash flow forecasts and feasibility studies.

Research and assess the socio-economic impact on the company projects.

Research and analyse data to help inform strategic developments.

Conduct research on sustainable development and alternative sustainable development.

Gather information about the economic and social climate for industrial development.

Coordinate and prepare the 5-year Strategic Plan of company.

Coordinate and prepare the Annual Report.

Coordinate and prepare the Annual Performance Plan and Quarterly Reports.


M+4 University Degree in Economics / Business Economics/ Econometrics / Commerce / Finance / Accounting

Knowledge and Skills:

5 years experience in business development

5 years’ experience in banking and transaction advisory role

Significant experience in accreditation

Experience in assessing companies’ quality of earnings, net assets, and cash flows

Experience in Economic Modelling and Data Analysis

Experience in
? Real Estate financial analysis.
? Calculating financial ratios and investment returns.

Advanced MS-Excel and financial modelling skills, able to consolidate and coordinate financial information.
