SUMMARY

Our client, a global leader in molten metal flow engineering and technology, requires an Electrical Maintenance Manager to be in charge of electrical Instrumentation and installation at the plants of their clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial:

Ensures measures are in place to prevent wasteful expenditure of allocated budget
Ensures that all routine maintenance work is scheduled and performed to reduce risk and cost
Ensures bill of quantities are properly calculated, time worked within limits, and purchases under R50 000.00 authorised. Report all costs concerning the allocated budget

Internal business process:

Deals with breakdowns, after-hours maintenance and callouts, safety compliance, conducts maintenance repairs, provides replacement advice, writes electrical reports, and submits a maintenance or repair plan
Maintain customer/stakeholder relationship:
Ensures customer service standards remain high and continually endeavours to improve service.
Maintain good relations with external engineers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Electrical Engineering and GCC
Good understanding of power stations and substations
5 to 10 years’ experience of instrumentation, as well as sound knowledge of Siemens PLC’s and programming
