Electrical Millwright, Hammanskraal - Ref: 1036593-2

A manufacturer of Ceramics is in search for an strong Electrical Millwright with experience in a manufacturing environment to install, maintain, repair, assemble and move machinery in factories and production plants.

The ideal incumbent will have a Trade Test or higher and more 6 years’ working experience; a self-driven person with a lot of energy and good people skills that can work under pressure and has potential to be further promoted.

Position details:

Type: Permanent.
Reports to: Factory Manager.

Job description / core competencies:
• Read diagrams, schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures
• Replace defective parts of machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
• Align machines and equipment.
• Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
• Assemble and install equipment.
• Attach moving parts and sub-assemblies to basic assembly unit, using hand tools and power tools.
• Assemble machines and bolt, weld, rivet or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools.
