Qualification:

Trade Tested Technician

NDip in Electrical / Electronic Engineering

BTech in Electrical / Electronic Engineering



Skills & Experience:

PLC Programming

Carry out Preventative and Planned Electronic Maintenance of production machines

SCADA Configuration

Update drawings of production equipment

Update Software for machinery and equipment documentation

Installation of new machinery

Upgrades of machines

Siemens or Beckhoff experience (advantageous)

Minimum 3 years’ experience

Job Description:

Your responsibility will be to install new machines and maintain current machines. PLC Programing, SCADA configuration and Electronic Maintenance. Carry out Preventative and Planned Electronic Maintenance of production machines. Ensure that all production and peripheral machines and equipment are functional and in good working order to eliminate any down time. You will be required to conduct daily inspections of production equipment to ensure equipment is working and running smoothly. Requirements to update production equipment documentation, software and drawings will also be required. Complete daily Shift Reports and administration tasks. You will also be required to provide training to new and learner Technicians on maintenance and fault finding of equipment and production machines.
