Temp Quality Controller (Manufacturing)
Location: Kya Sands, Johannesburg
Salary: R69 p/h

Our client in the Manufacturing industry is looking for a Temp Quality Controller, monitoring all production process by inspecting and approving product to optimize quality and reduce wastage of raw materials during production.

Key responsibilities

• Fully accountable for the measurement and approval of all products produced during the shift
• Alerting the supervisor immediately if there are any changes in product dimensions etc. thought out the manufacturing process
• Completion and sign off, of all quality documentation pertaining to the shift
• Conduct specific laboratory and on-line testing to ensure conformance to specification
• Ensure all products are QA tested and approved during the shift
• Ensure the promotion of awareness of quality throughout the organization
• Identify non-conforming products on time, notifying the supervisor for immediate rectification
• Inspecting and recording parameter results
• Monitoring and measurement of production parameters during manufacture
• Undertaking specific ball dimension and pressure tests
• Undertake any other task or duty requested by management

Requirements

• Matric
• 5 years working experience, preferably within a QA position advantageous
• Certificate in plastic technology / QA management
• Internal quality audit training
• Forklift license
• Computer skills
