Employee Relations Officer
Duties Include but not limited to the following:
Coordinate and facilitated grievances as well as the disciplinary hearing
Ensure that grievances and disciplinary hearing are held in terms of the applicable policy
Keep up to date all the records disciplinary hearing and grievance records
General monthly employee relations report including employment equity report
Business representation at CCMA for both conciliation and arbitration proceedings
Build and maintain professional union relationships
Ensure existing of a collective agreements and strike contingency
Participate and assist in implementing new projects
Maintain and prepare daily/weekly and monthly reports
Requirements:
Grade 12
Diploma/Degree in Labour relations or equivalent qualification
4 years related experience
Generalist Human Resource knowledge will be advantageous
Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills (written and verbal)
Above average computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Proactive and deadline driven
Proven SAGE People experience critical
Salary: Market Related
