Electrical Engineering Degree/Diploma or the equivalent in Cooling
Min. 2 years proven experience from dimensioning and engineering power and backup solutions for the telecom/Data Center industry
Certificate in electrical regulations SABS0142

Minimum Required Work Experience
Good Field experience in Installation and Project Management of Telecom Infrastructure Projects.
Knowledge on all Telecom Infrastructure components e.g. DC Power products, Cooling Products, UPS, Racks, Monitoring and others.
Ability to combine technical expertise and skills with adequate application engineering understanding is required
Min. 3-5 years in-field installation experience of Telecom/Data Center Infrastructure in Sub-Sahara Africa.
Min. 2 years proven experience from dimensioning and engineering power and backup solutions for the telecom/Data Center industry
Min. 5 years in Project Management experience.
Handling MS Office and MS Projects.

To support Bid Management team and customers on Product level, order handling and being aware of market/product developments.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop products and variations adaptations thereof to be integrated in total solutions, including Escalations (ES) or SFA’s (ENPS)
Draft concept specifications for new products/adaptations to ensure availability of suitable products as required by markets
Focus on the products described for the applicable position
Compile all necessary information regarding technical specifications, production & quality of relevant products.
Arrange for creation of any new products/adaptations, product numbers in SAP so that it can be ordered
Arrange for freight quotes via logistics, when required
Assist the solutions engineers with product selection, configuration and dimensioning to provide best optimized solution, including customized product modification when required
Preparation of Statement of Compliance to customer specifications of the product section of bids/proposals
