Engineering Manager

International Manufacturing Organisation based in Atlantis is seeking a suitably experienced Engineering Manager to join their team.

Requirements:
University Degree in Engineering
At least 3 years’ experience as an Engineering Manager within a Heavy Engineering/Manufacturing environment
Strong level of knowledge in Product Engineering and Development, Welding Engineering and Process Engineering
Ability to communicate and develop relationships at Executive level
Ability to manage various complex projects and situations simultaneously
Competent with SAP and Microsoft Office

Key areas of responsibility:
Reporting to the Plant Manager and CTO
Supervision of overall equipment maintenance
Leading product engineering while meeting client specifications and technical requirements
Implementation and maintenance of systems to manage legal compliance to relevant legislation
Identify human and material resources required to meet production objectives
Providing guidance to the Production Manager in identifying areas of improvement and implementing improvements accordingly
Engineering of products and processes with the objective to maximizing productivity while minimising costs
Ensuring optimum plant availability and productivity
