DEGR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING + GCC (FACTORIES) + EXP OF FURNACES + ROTARY KILNS + SAP + OWN CAR & DRIVERS LICENCE + EXP IRONMAKING ADVANTAGE.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To ensure engineering excellence, both long term and short term, through the co-ordinations and management of all engineering activities in the Ironmaking.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
•?Ensuring that targeted Engineering availabilities are met across the Ironmaking Division.
•?Work with production team to realise plant production targets through maintenance planning.
•?Understand and give guidance to the technical and professional aspects of the operation.
•?Make systematic and rational judgments based on relevant information.
•?Understand and apply commercial and financial principles to operational and capital
expenditures.
•?Demonstrate readiness to make decisions and take initiative.
•?Ensure engineering excellence, both long and short term, through the co-ordination and
management of all engineering activities in the Ironmaking operation.
•?Ensure that SHEQ standards are met.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
•?Knowledge and experience of Furnaces and Rotary Kilns will be an added advantage.
•?SHEQ Management System.
•?Acquainted with Disciplinary systems and procedures.
•?People Management skills.
•?Project Management.
•?Root cause analysis.
EXPERIENCE
•?5 to 7 years experience in a production plant with specific experience in equipment
maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS
•?Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
•?Government Certificate of Competency (GCC Factories).
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
•?Must be in possession of driver’s licence. (Must have own car)
