Enrolled Nurse/ Phlebotomist

Main purpose of the job
To administer, maintain and coordinate the logistical aspects of clinical trials according to good clinical practice, the
study protocol and the standard operating procedures and to act as a pivotal point of contact for the clinical trial team
and the study sponsor(s).

Location
Parktown, Johannesburg

Key performance areas
Patient Recruitment and retention
Study patient contact activities and files prior to screening visits.
Perform patient vitals and direct patients for relevant procedures and tests, report any adverse events to Medical
Quality control patient files, proactively resolve protocol queries and missing data
Assist the pharmacist with IVRS acknowledgement of drug and shipments

Required minimum education and training
SANC registration
Nursing Diploma (4 year diploma)
Certification in good clinical practice (GCP) is advantageous

Professional body registration
SANC registration

Required minimum work experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a clinical trial environment

Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities
Excellent Microsoft office skills
Communication skills both written and verbal
Overtime and travel may be required
Maintain diplomacy and confidentiality.
