Requirements:
Knowledge of clearing and forwarding industry, all its service offerings and all commercial
terms (Incoterms).
Relevant Degree or Diploma with a high level of numerical ability.
5 years’ experience in an operational capacity in International Freight.

Tasks:
Support sales efforts through the preparation of accurate and relevant estimates (Air, Ocean
& Road Import and Export) for clients and requests from within the company and the follow
through of estimates to closure.

Provide commercial insight through the evaluation of estimate results to improve company
tender strike rate and competitiveness.

Provide administrative support and back up including the creation and maintenance of
estimate and freight registers.

Develop and establish relationships through the provision of administrative support and back
up to key stakeholders specifically origin offices and the various sales units and staff.

Generate sales leads and distribute these to the respective Sales teams / management whilst
ensuring that these leads have been attended to.

Facilitate and address all inter-branch queries and proactively communicate with
stakeholders in respect of rates / estimates.

Ensure that all activities in the area of responsibility are compliant with current legal and
company specific regulations.
