Chef's qualification with further 5 years Senior Chef's experience required, ( 3 years as Head Chef ) .

The Head Chef is to ensure a consistently high standard of food preparation and service.

Train junior chefs to adhere to the presentation levels.

Monitor highest service levels.

Prepare and cost different menus.

Monitor budget and food costs.

Stock ordering and Stock Control

Innovative person – need to produce new ideas.

Management of chef’s – therefore good people skills

Should be able to handle large functions

Salary R 25 000 including accommodation or live out allowance.
