Large 5* Hotel in Sandton requires the services of an Executive Chef to lead the kitchen department. Duties will include:Must be creative and be able to create exceptional foodMust be exceptionally good in menu planning and food preparation of banquets as well as conferencesMust be familiar with all aspects regarding management of the kitchenMust be extremely competent in all administrative aspects in the kitchenMust be strong in cost and stock control and must be able to compile the relevant reports and deal with the relevant suppliersMust have good leadership skills and be able to deal with all levels of staffMust be competent in all aspects of disciplinary proceduresMust be computer literate and be able to use PluspointMust have good communication skills Requirements:Matric and a formal qualification Must have large scale 5* hotel / conferencing experience Must have at least 8 - 10 years’ experience as Executive Chef Please send a recent picture, menus and food portfolio as well as written references
