Our client, an upmarket trendy establishment is seeking to appoint a creative, experienced Executive chef to join the team.
A minimum of 5 years experience in an upmarket restaurant/hotel.
The position would suit a candidate who has the following abilities and qualities:
• Formal qualification from a recognized Institution;
• Professional Culinary Certificate| Diploma is essential;
• Strong culinary knowledge;
• Direct and supervise kitchen operations;
• Menu development;
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Motivate staff – leader, team player;
• Excellent communication skills ;
• Maintain a well stocked inventory;
• Computer literate;
• Vehicle licence (own reliable transport)
• Valid Safety Health and Hygiene certificate (or similar)
• Market related salary.
