A strong-minded, feisty, experienced Sous Chef is needed for a busy 4-star conferencing hotel in Pretoria. We are looking for a candidate with strong kitchen management skills to be 2IC here, as well as someone who can cook up a storm...The successful candidate will have a matric certificate, a formal culinary qualification and at least 3 years’ experience as Sous Chef in the kitchen of a full service hotel or commercial kitchen. Responsibilities include:Food preparationMaintenance of hygiene standardsMaintenance of chemicals and equipmentEnsuring adherence to safety and security policies in the kitchenGuest interactionAssisting and training lower level staffAdministration as determined by the Executive ChefSalary is R16 000 - R18 000 per month negotiable on experience.Should you receive no response from us within 5 days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
