Our client a leader in the FMCG industry is looking to appoint an Export Coordinator with a Grade 12 and a relevant qualification in Logistics/Imports/Exports and a minimum of 2 years working experience in the clearing and forwarding industry as an Export Coordinator/Controller to ensure export documentary compliance in accordance with both South African and importing country requirements are met with despatching of consignments.

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12
Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics/Imports/Exports
Minimum of 2 years working experience in the clearing and forwarding industry in the role of an Export Coordinator/Controller
Shipping Knowledge
Over-border and local road freight knowledge
Knowledge of SARS documentary processes (A MUST)
Knowledge of multi-modal documentation
Computer literate

Job Objectives
Receiving orders/load plan
Obtain all relevant permits, import and export certification for the consignments
Arrange haulier and customs instructions
Prepare all documentation and inspections for despatch
Send pre-alert and shipping instructions to all relevant parties
Obtain final documentation and ensure timeous despatch for clearing of consignments
Responsible for maintaining lead times, compliance and accuracy
Ensuring accurate reporting
Client service provided in a professional manner
Execute policies and procedures as required
Resolve ad hoc related queries
