Our leading global water technology company seeks to appoint an External Sales Rep, to be established in Johannesburg East. The Purpose of the position is to build strong, close and sincere relationships within our customer base and distribution network, and also to offer sound sales & technical assistance to distributors and end users. The position also purpose to seek, cold call and find new business opportunities and to ensure proper stock management support to customers and distributors.

The Successful incumbent will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
Seek, identify and prioritize potential business partners.
? Negotiate market segment and / or areas of potential business partners.
? When running marketing campaigns with business partners, ensure adequate stock levels to support these campaigns.
? Provide sound technical advice and application support to customers and distributors.
? Presentations to customers, distributors, consultants and internal staff on product and application information.
? Assist with design of pumping systems, pump stations and other water handling scenarios.
? Conduct fault finding and pump audits.
? Ensure quotations and / or offers get communicated efficiently to customers and distributors.
? Provide accurate, relevant and up to date market and sales information.

Requirements:
? Grade 12 / Matric / Equivalent.
Preferably French speaking
? Must be computer literate (MS Office).
? N6-T3 Technical/Diploma/Degree in client service or marketing will be advantageous.
? 3-5 years Technical Sales experience within an engineering/manufacturing industry
? Sound knowledge of applications and working of various pumps.
? General knowledge of the pumping industry is important and advantageous.
? Must have valid driver’s license and own car, with ability to travel local and nationally.
? Must have experience in the Pump Rentals Business.
