Facilitator
The facilitator is responsible for the planning, implementation and training of the learners according to the training program and roll out plan. Assisting learners with POE building that meet the quality standards of assessment.

Facilitator
Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Establish clear objectives for all training sessions, activities and projects, and communicate those objectives and outcomes to learners.
• Establish and enforce a classroom code of conduct to maintain a positive learning environment for learners during all workshop activities.
• Prepare on the given materials for formative and summative activities.
• Adapt training methods to meet learners ‘varying’ needs.
• Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration and work time that provides clients with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate materials covered during sessions.
• Identify, select and modify classroom resources to meet the needs of learners with varying backgrounds, learning styles and special needs.
• Maintain effective and efficient record-keeping.
• Provide a positive environment in which learners are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process.
• Communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with learners, co-workers and other professionals on a regular basis.
• Meet learnership milestones and goals.
• Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as meeting deadlines, honouring schedules and co-ordinating ancillary learner services.
• Deliver curriculum according to content and standard of the program.
• Complete case notes for each learner.
• Conduct induction/onboarding sessions with new learners.
• Compile and report evaluation feedback.
• Compile monthly reports on the groups facilitated
The ideal candidate for this post should have the following:

Qualification and Skills:

• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Google)
• Matric/grade 12 certificate
• Diploma/Degree relevant to qualification that will be facilitated, Skills Development Facilitator Qualification, ETDP assessor certificate.
• Assessor certificate necessary

Experience:
• 2 - 3 years’ learnership experience
• 2 years Assessing preferable
