The duties for Facilities Management for the Coastal Region of Property Management Services includes, but is not limited to the below technical support services; for both owned (and managed) property portfolios, assisting both Property Managers and Administrators: WE are looking for a stable mature individual who isnt looking at climbing the corporate ladder, but rather seeking stability

  • Compiling and implementing requirements for scoping and procurement processes in order to carry out major maintenance works and Capital projects, including submission report writing, construction monitoring and contract administration involving minute writing, progress payments and managing of variations and penalties; and close out documentation. (Management of guarantee conditions).

  • Site monitoring and quality control both locally and remotely (use of electronic media / photos); and involves liaison with the Professional team where input and expertise is required. (Some travel from time to time).

  • Compiling documentation and managing the procurement processes for soft services tenders (security and cleaning); including adjudication for long term service contracts, involving submission report writing and recommendation for awards based on outcomes of tender, tracking of expiry dates and record keeping of documentation both in hard copy format and electronically.

  • Assist with budget compilation and estimates, track and implement works to meet budget criteria at financial year end.

  • Continued property database compilation and updating of electronic property folders.

  • Assist with monitoring electrical COC and audit requirements for compliance for equipment / machinery.

  • Assist with input on specifications and queries for maintenance and projects (liaise with Property Managers, product representatives, service providers and Professionals).

  • Handling of general queries and emergencies as and when required; tenant liaison from time to time.

  • Knowledge of compliance to OSHACT, appointment of H&S consultants.

    • Preferably someone with a strong technical background – Architect / Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager

    • Must be able to work on their own

    • Ability to draw up BOQ will be an advantage

    • Strong administration skills
