Facilities Specialist / Facility Co-Ordinator Cape Town CBD

Our Client is looking for an Energetic and dynamic Facilities Specialist / Facilities Co-ordinator.

The successful candidate must meet the following criteria:
• Must have Matric, or equivalent
• Qualification in Facilities Management
• Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint and Email

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Oversee the facilities management of property related hard and soft services: rates, utilities, parking, catering, health and safety, maintenance, cleaning, security
• Review and manage contracts within the facilities management spectrum.
• Review and recommend energy efficiency proposals, and implement selected energy efficiency projects.
• Space planning and co-ordination of staff/department relocation or change in office configuration
• Co-ordination and project management of installations, alterations and development.
• Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities.
• Ensuring the building meets health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation.
• Keeping staff safe.
• Planning best allocation and utilisation of space and resources for new building, or re-organising current premises.
• Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactory and following up on any deficiencies.
• Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences.
