An International Citrus Fruit Farming Company is looking for a dynamic, energetic FARM AREA MANAGER for their business unit in LIMPOPO MPUMALANGA. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, high standards, excellent communication ability and the ambition to grow with this organisation. Min of 3 years’ experience and a Tertiary qualification in Agriculture related to the field of Citrus farming will be beneficial to application. Knowledge of the Citrus farming and the Agri Industry essential. Must be willing to relocate.
Qualifications and experience required:
? Tertiary Agriculture qualifications (Advantageous).
? Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the cultivation of citrus.

Skills and knowledge required:
? Good knowledge on the establishment, care and production of citrus;
? Effectively planning and organising skills;
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
? Strong leadership skills and work confidently in a group;
? Problem-solving capabilities;
? Excellent time management; and
? Computer literate.

Responsibilities:
? Responsible for the full management of the citrus unit in close collaboration with management;
? Development and growth of a citrus unit;
? Managing of labour, production, quality, accreditations and management systems;
? Responsible for maintaining health and safety standards;
? Efficiently set and control production budgets;
? Managing and motivating a team of workers; and
? Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by the General Manager.
