Our client is an established egg-producer outside Paarl. The following position is currently available:

FARM MANAGER

This is an ideal position for a dedicated, adaptable and reliable person who likes new challenges, enjoys the farm life and has good practical problem-solving skills. An agricultural diploma and/or previous experience in the laying hen industry will strengthen the application.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the farm and ensuring that all production activities are managed effectively.

Duties include:

• Management of staff
• Planning and supervision
• Maintenance of machinery
• Record keeping and ordering of feed
• Oversee vaccination processes
• Administration and record keeping
• Reporting to owner

The incumbent should be willing to perform duties after hours and on weekends from time to time. A market related remuneration package, which will include housing, will be negotiated in line with qualifications and experience.
