Our client is a well-established industrial engineering company, and we are looking for a Field Service Technician specialising in Ammonia Refrigeration for the Durban branch.

The position involves travelling to various client sites performing repairs to Ammonia Refrigeration equipment. The position offers wonderful exposure to a variety of work environments, and adds great working experience to any candidate.

The position involves a lot of client contact so you would need to enjoy dealing with people and be able to communicate at all levels. As you would be driving around a lot, you need to have great energy levels.

Duties & Responsibilities
Repair of fridges, freezers, cold rooms, chillers and other ammonia refrigeration equipment.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum 10 years working experience including apprenticeship
Experience must be within a food processing/beverage manufacturing environment
Minimum 5 years' experience with repairs of ammonia refrigeration equipment
Minimum N3 with trade test, preferably Millwright and Red Seal
Ammonia Category B Certification (not negotiable)
Valid driver's license
Fluent English
Able to travel extensively
Able to do stand-by shifts

Package & Remuneration
Package is highly negotiable on basic salary, with overtime and other allowances. This basic salary is negotiable on level of experience. Company offers medical aid and pension fund, and the position has a company vehicle for business travel and private travel within reason.
