Field Service Technician KZN reports to Branch Manager

Servicing, repariing, commissioning, inspections and call outs in the KZN Province.

Carry out the above mentioned duties in accordance with the company's laid down procedures, quality requirements. 

Follow safe working procedures as laid down by the company's and the client's polocies 

Recommend procedural changes where necessary, to the supervisor 

Ensure housekeeping on serviced machines 

Interact responsibly and professionally at all times with clients and promote the services of the company

Supervise, control and train the Service Assistant in all service activities 

Ensure client specific safety files are kept updated and content is understood and explained to the service assistant 

Arrange medicals and inductions for sitework 

Completion of supporting documentation relating to service activities 

Ensure housekeeping and maintenance of Service vehicle and service tools 

Arrange servicing of the dedicated Service vehicle and maintenance of the service history 

Must be trade tested preferably in the trade of Millwright (Fitter and Turners will also be considered 

3-5 years post trade test experience, preferably in the compressor industry

Previous experience in the Field Servicing Industry 

Valid Drivers license (MS Office)

Preferrablty bilingual but not essential 

Good verbal and written skills  

 Candidate must be prepared to undergo 3 weeks training in Germany must have a passport
