My Client seeks a suitably qualified and experienced person to fulfil the position of Field Service Technician to be based at Sasolburg.
The person will be based in Sasolburg.

The basic salary is about R19,350 per month plus the standard benefits.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the management, installation, commissioning and maintenance of all dosing pumps and equipment to the engineering and quality standards required by company
• Responsible for coordinating all work activities in full compliance with the OSH Act 85 of 1993 Regulations.
• Manage and perform preventative maintenance on equipment in accordance with the maintenance schedule and quality plan to maximize plant productivity and availability.
• Be available to carry out emergency maintenance/repairs on-site when required.
• Ensure that company property such as tools, vehicles, test equipment, etc. entrusted to you are properly maintained and safeguarded at all times.
• Responsible for the continuing liaison and communication with relevant company Sales employees, in order to respond to their requests accurately, timeously and cost-effectively.
• Responsible to calibrate all field on line equipment

Qualifications / Experience:

• Minimum of NQF level 4 qualification
• Experience with Electronics and Industrial Instrumentation would be an advantage
• Minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Computer literacy in PLC will be an advantage.
• Working knowledge of the OHS Act 85 of 1993.
• Must have good analytical and communication skills.
• Valid SA Drivers Licence.
• Need to be a self-starter and able to see a problem and correct it.
• Excellent communication and Time Management skills.
• Needs to reside in the Sasolburg area.
