The incumbent will support and service MMU chassis in Africa and also ensure that all plant and operating equipment are properly maintained, repaired and kept operational at all times to ensure that the blasting products and services are provided to customers in line with the contractual obligations across various sites in Africa.

Job Description:
Ensuring the safety and protection of fellow employees, customers, the public and the environment
Providing services and customer support on Bulk plants, MMU’s and pumps (for underground operations) during field visits or dispatches.
Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions
Producing timely and detailed service reports
Ensuring that Raw Material, plant equipment and machine parts are stored correctly
Following all company’s filed procedures and protocols
Cooperation with technical team and sharing information across the organization
Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
Building positive relationships with customers
Performing other ancillary duties including relief at other locations

Minimum Requirements:
Qualified Trade Tested Artisan (Mechanical or Electrical)/ or Millwright (Section 13)
A combination of both Electrical and Mechanical experience

Skills & Knowledge:
Minimum 5 years experience in a Field Service role
Minimum 10 years experience in MMU Support, preferably; MAN, VOLVO or Renault trucks
Experience in managing service calls
Previous exposure to travel into Africa
A valid Driver’s Licence and passport
