Job Description:

Installing equipment

Install and Commission

Tier 2 Support on sites

Support Access control Customers on-site. Perform new installations and on-site technical support


Minimum Requirements:

Softcon access control experience (hardware and software)

Impro Access control experience (hardware and software)

CCTV knowledge and experience

Availability to work after hour’s standby

Own reliable transportation

Matric certificate, driver’s license and clear credit record

Experience with other access control systems such as EBI, Lenel, Ccure, Tridium

Experience with IP video surveillance systems such as Vivotek, QNAP, Axis, Geovision

ComTIA N+

Understanding and experience in deploying large IMPRO and/or SOFTCON access control projects.

Understanding of Sagem / Morpho Biometric access control readers

Understanding of IP based Video surveillance systems, IP cameras and recorders, video codecs.

Understanding of desktop operating systems, Web browsers and email clients

Basic understanding of IP networking fundamentals

Good understanding of cabling standards

Experienced in giving technical support

Self-motivated, precision worker that takes pride in work

Network related recent Networking qualification (N+, Duxbury Adv, or ICND1/CCENT)

Good understanding of networking and equipment fundamentals

(Ethernet, Cabling standards,TCP/IP, Managed Switches, WiFi, Gateways, VoIP, PPPoE)
