Field Service Technician - Plastics Industry

The company supplies and services equipment used in the plastic blow moulding and injection moulding industry.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Service and repair machinery at customer sites
• Work with PLCs, relays and panel wiring
• Fault finding on electrical circuits
• Fault finding on hydraulics and pneumatics
• Align machinery
• Working with machinery including blow moulding and injection moulding equipment
• Communicate easily with managers and supervisors
• Establish and maintaining relationships with clients


Skill Set
• Ideally qualified electrician or millwright
• Wireman’s licence
• Must have warehouse electrical experience
• Understanding hydraulics & pneumatics
• Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s licence
• Be prepared to travel overseas & local
• Work on standby from time to time
• Work overtime when necessary
• Blow Moulding and Injection Moulding experience is an advantage
• Experience in a the Plastic industry will be beneficial
