Job Description:

Proactive internal communication & connection with all entities
Manage & Supervise of the F&A Team
Ensure all reports are sent on Time
Monthly Statement of Financial Position ledger reconciliations for all entities
Preparing monthly Management Accounts with Variance Analysis
Assist with Budgeting
Inventory management
Process and/or Review full Cash book processing and reconciliation function for all entities
Process and/or Review full Accounts Payable function for all entities
Process and/or Review full Accounts Receivable function for all entities
Process and/or Review Fixed Asset Register
Handle Tax: – VAT, PAYE, SDL, UIF and file to SARS after review
Prepare Audit Packs and handle the audit process
Planning, realisation and controlling of the planning and budgeting at a national level
Accounting, preparing and inspecting of receipts for accountancy
Cost accounting at country level
Financial reporting at country level
Managing of bank and insurances matters for the South African entities
Submission of Payments
Authorisation of Payments
Manage Twinfield (Web based Accounting Program)
Depreciation
Verify bank balance
Obtain revenue from Semper (POS)
Mercantile donations: convert data in upload TWF
Accrue supplier open items
Obtain VIP data
Approval of Journals
New Supplier Accounts
Salary Accounting
Maintaining fleet management records in liaison with the Maintenance Department
Supervise Petty Cash Management
Assist in Medical & Provident Fund administration
Facility management
General acquisition (of needed office equipment)

Qualifications:

CIMA Part Qualified/ Diploma/ Degree in Accounting & Finance
At least two years’ experience handling full books to Trial Balance in a group setup
Practical use of accounting software e.g Pastel Partner/ Evolution and Payroll experience
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliations
