Our Client is a leading manufacturer of FMCG products. Their office and manufacturing concern is based in the Elgin Valley. They are looking for a hands on, versatile individual to take control of the finance portfolio as well as all administration, which includes HR, company secretarial, ISO, BEE and other general admin functions.

The successful individual will have:

• Relevant Finance/Accounting Degree or Diploma
• At least 6 years relative experience in Finance, Accounting and Administration
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Driver’s license
• High attention to detail with strong administrative and financial skills and ability to multi task
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to manage people
• Reliable, trustworthy and honest

Duties will include:

• Assist in setting and managing budgets
• Maintain all financial records and files as per company policies
• Prepare finance reports and account reconciliation reports according to company policies on periodic basis
• Assist in managing account payable and receivable activities
• Reconcile monthly general ledger balance, invoices and credit card statements
• Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related issues
• Manage all account payments and customer invoicing as per deadlines
• Prepare and adjust finance journal entries as required
• Payroll processes
• Support the annual financial audit processes through the preparation of standard reports as well as other custom reports as requested


• Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes
• Perform general company secretarial functions
• Responsible for statutory reporting and returns
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of administration staff and reception as required
• Manage HR related aspects (employee files, leave forms and leave balance maintenance (annual and sick etc.), and skills development planning and tracking)
• Management Representative for Employment Equity, SETA communications and Union meetings.
• Preparation of agenda and minutes for management meetings
• Monitor inventory of office supplies with attention to budgetary constraints
• Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation
• Oversee facilities services and general maintenance activities
• Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations
• Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments
• Act as Management Representative on the BBBEE Committee and providing necessary documentation for the preparation of BBBEE scorecard.
• Participate in Social & Ethics Committee meetings and assist with implementation of actions
• Assist in ensure that ISO22000 processes and documentation are maintained in good order
