Finance Manager
Our client, a well-established business, is looking for an experienced accountant/bookkeeper.
MAIN DUTIES
Managing cash flow and producing daily, weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts
Administering and reconciling the confidential invoice discounting account
Producing monthly Profit and Loss account, monitoring changes and Gross profit percentage
Ensure the business owner has timely and accurate reports at his fingertips
Credit control
Monthly bank, purchase ledger and sales ledger reconciliations.
Data entry of sales invoices, purchase invoices, and expenses
Maintaining the accounts.
VAT returns
Payroll - mix of weekly and monthly (this can be outsourced if candidate does not have payroll experience)
Small amount of PA/Admin work

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL
Be at least part
Have a minimum of 2 years accounts management experience
Have great attention to detail
Be competent with spreadsheets
Be flexible, willing to help out as required
Be able to work completely unsupervised and manage the finances of the business effectively
