Minimum qualifications, competencies and experience
• Minimum B.Com Accounting Qualification
• Minimum 5 – 6 years relevant experience in a similar position

Key performance areas (KPA’s)
• Preparation of monthly results and reporting to business
• Preparation of monthly divisional management packs and supporting slides
• Preparation of quarterly board packs and supporting slides
• Consolidation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
• Reporting of forecasts and budgets
• Review cash flow forecasts prepared for company
• Completion of tax schedules
• BEE reporting
• Complete quarterly Statistics SA returns
• Attend to queries from and provide support to admin staff as required

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
• Computer literacy – MS Office Suite (MS Excel to intermediate level is essential)
• Knowledge of JDE and SMARTX packages would be advantageous
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Planning and organizing ability
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and in a pressurized environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Assertive, pro-active and a team player
