Our client, a Metals and Alloys recycling company, part of a large listed company, is looking to employ a Financial Accountant for the Roodepoort West office. The candidate must have a completed B.Com and completed Articles. (SAICA) In-depth knowledge is required pertaining to; Full IFRS, Income Tax Act, VAT Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Second-hand Goods Act, Inventory -all aspects.
Computer skills required: MSO, Pastel Partner, VIP, Lariat/ Recycote Prox. Clocking card Systems -VIPER.
2-4 years post articles experience in a similar role will be advantageous. Scrap metal Industry experience a benefit.
Candidate must be fluent in Afrikaans and English.
The candidate must be familiar with the full accounting function at Senior Management level and be known through experience in Debtors, Creditors, VIP Payroll, journals, VAT reconciliations. Fixed asset register and depreciations knowledge very important as well as weekly and monthly financial reports to the Directors.
