Our client is looking for a Financial Accounting Manager who will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The ideal candidate will be an astute CA, with 1-2 years’ audit experience and charismatic charm.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 1 - 2 years’ Audit experience

Strong computer skills with exceptional knowledge of Pastel Partner and VIP Payroll

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work independently

Excellent problem-solving skills



Job Description:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting department, Process month end and end year process, accounts payable / receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity and debt activity.

Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.

Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.

Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.

Assist the FD in the daily banking requirements.

Ensure the accurate and timely processing of pay transactions.

Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.

Supports budget and forecasting activities.

Collaborates with the FD to support overall department goals and objectives.

Monitors and analyses department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.

Responds to inquiries from the Director of Finance regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like.

Ensure a clean and timely year end audit.

Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.

Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.

Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.

Administer the Monthly Payroll.

Complete and submit Statutory Returns and Payments.

Support FD with special projects and workflow process improvements.

Adhoc duties as and when required.
