Duties:

• Handling business and travel arrangements as well as enquiries,
• Acting as “gatekeeper” when scheduling/diarising meetings, appointments and key event, resulting in effective diary management,
• Handling enquiries of a routine nature,
• Effectively communicating and re-routing urgent matters for other people’s attention and follow-up,
• Liaison with internal & external work partners,
• Typing,
• Handling of telephone/fax and PC,
• Opening of post and re-routing as and when necessary,
• Maintain filing system (electronic and manually),
• Compile reports,
• General admin duties,
• Involvement in ad hoc financial project,
• Handling confidential issues.

Requirements:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in a finance / accounting field,
• Must have at least 5-8 years proven admin experience of which 3 years should be in a senior management environment,
• Financial background with knowledge of budgets, reconciliations and variance reporting will be an advantage,
• Proven numerical aptitude and strong analytical abilities,
• Proven Computer Literacy in MS Office (including PowerPoint); SAP; Brandcrafters Online; BW would be an advantage),
• Must be able to work accurately,
• Strong administrative skills,
• Assertive and lively personality,
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality,
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills,
• Be able to work independently, accurately and cope under pressure,
• Be Pro-active and the ability to take initiative,
• Bilingual (Afrikaans & English),
• Team Player,
• Ability to multi-task and effective time management,
• Be able to communicate at all levels and work cross-functionally.
